CHENEY CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Pastor Chuck and his wife Valerie came to Cheney in March 2019. They have loved getting to know the people in Cheney and the surrounding areas. They both love the outdoors and enjoy hiking, snow shoeing, skiing, kayaking, and connecting with people. Chuck is an avid fisherman and loves to get on the water whenever time allows. Valerie is a school teacher and has been teaching in our local elementary schools. They have 3 kids and 5 grandkids! They love being with their family. They have served in Coldwell, ID; Salem, OR; San Diego, CA; Sisters, OR; and now here in Cheney!

Pastor Gene graduated from NNU in 2020 and came on as our Associate Pastor in April 2021. We are so blessed to have him here!

Zack joined our team in December 2023. He works with the children, youth, and families in our church body. 

Rachel came aboard as our office manager in September 2021. She studied Elementary Education at Whitworth University. She and her husband Zack met at Whitworth and were married in May 2019. You may call or email her with any questions, ideas, or prayer requests:

Terri has been the director of our daycare ministry Noah's Ark since January 2014. Terri has been on staff with Noah's Ark since we opened our doors in 2009 and has been the assistant director, teacher, cook, janitor, and just about any other job you can think of! Terri and her husband Gene have 4 children: Amanda, Michael, Eugene and Elle. Terri enjoys sports, being outdoors, and gardening. We are grateful to have Terri as part of our team and know that God is using her and her staff to impact the lives of children all across Cheney!
